OVERALL: If you consider yourself to be a fan of rap music then you must pick up this phenominal album! This is a very important album!
Biggest Negative: 1. The album hasn't been released on vinyl yet. Dilla sounds amazing on vinyl.
2. Busta's insights on Dilla, and what he has meant to him and the world were informative, interesting and offered great insight behind the scenes of what it was like to work with a great producer such as Dilla. But, after 1 listen through the album I wanted to hear just the songs and not the narrating, and with no seperate tracks for the voiceovers my fast foward button got a little more action than it should have.
Biggest Positive: 1. Whatever Busta is doing on this mixtape I hope he keeps it up for his new album, because he sounds refreshed and on-point like the mid to late-90's Busta.
2. Before this album, I had no idea that Rah Digga was still spitting. She's featured on songs here and kicks ass on all of them!
3. It's one of those albums where you can focus on just the music or just the lyrics and it will sound amazing either way, but when combined, the result is something that's beyond words.
